I started out working on this sunflower photo I had taken to create a variation to use in the Group Colors, Colors, Colors. As usual I got carried away and ended up with forty variations of the flower. I start playing in Photoshop with a photo and go until I can’t find any other variations I can do on it without making a total mess of what was a beautiful flower photo. Some would say lots of the variations are destroying the original, I feel it is only enhancing what was beautiful to begin with and seeing what it would look like in new versions.
I also forgot to post the black version to the Colors, Colors, Colors challenge, well, I ended up with several black versions but not one did I post in time for the challenge. I do it just for the enjoyment of creating and to forget for a while the pain my body is in almost constantly.

I asked for help then I ended up printing out ten on one sheet of photo paper for the show...it was 24" x 56" in size...I have a large format printer so can print out 24" wide to 50' long ...

Although I did on my previous computer and did play around with it a bit. It was the free version.
Secondly, I love all the artistic versions of the photo...but in my heart of hearts I like the original the best.
But, again, I would like to know why you like your current camera and what price range it's in since my camera broke yesterday.
I have a Canon 10D which is an old version of Canon's digital line of semi pro cameras, cost $1500 new, now you can pick up a Rebel digital for less than $700 or for $1700 you can buy the 7D which you can take HD movies with it. The prices range from a few hundred to around $10,000 for a digital camera, it is according to what you want and what you are going to use it for...or some would say go Nikon, personally I like Canon and want a 7D which is a 22megapixil camera...
Thank you Janny...the thing is how much you want to spend, what you want for your dollar etc.

I know for sure that I want a higher close up power than I had and I'd also like to have a good re-chargeable battery since batteries are so expensive.
Maybe I should go to a good camera shop and talk with someone. All the online stuff is overwhelming.
Just don't let a salesman over sale you on the prices, check on line then have an idea what to expect from prices so they will not sell you something you either don't need or can't use...ask a friend to go with you as well, that helps...also don't buy the first time you go in to a store, that so called sale that is about to end may not be such a great deal...

Thanks for taking the time to write this out for me. I'll follow your trail....
